FIRST REHEARSAL: August 30th
Ages 11-13
Fridays 10:30-11:30
-Students will develop intermediate singing technique including but not limited to ear training, breathing, intonation, reading music, articulation, and rehearsal and performance skills. Challenging repertoire suitable for concert performance and choir competition with solo opportunities will be experienced.
PERFORMANCES
Winter Concert – Tuesday, December 17 6pm Bates Recital Hall
Spring Concert – Friday, May 16 6pm Bates Recital Hall
Tuition and Fees
$25 non-refundable registration fee per academic year, August to May (due at the time of enrollment)
TUITION – ONE SEMESTER
•$200/semester for ONE singer
•$400/semester for 2 or more singers
TUITION – FULL YEAR (August to May)
•$350/year for ONE singer
•$700/year for 2 or more singers
REFUND POLICY
Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Tuition is refundable according to the following: Withdrawal BEFORE September 15, 100% tuition refunded; Withdrawal between September 15 and BEFORE October 1, 50% tuition refunded; Withdrawal AFTER September 30, NO REFUND issued.
Rehearsals
One 60 minute, weekly group rehearsal with individual rehearsals done by students at home during the subsequent week. Materials are provided. Rehearsals are held on Fridays from 10:30-11:30.
Performance
One performance at the end of each semester, community performances, choir tours, and/or competition.
